Fuck, yeah. They all absolutely correspond my perceptions. I like your style and interpretation more than too much... If only you depict more Wednesday|Odin and World|Loki from American Gods, there're still so little arts with them.

Love it!! Loki is my favorite!I love the way you did his mouth! And Anansi's facial hair actually looks short and fuzzy like spider hair. You're awesome!

With the exception of Mr. Wednesday, you have them depicted exactly how I imagined them all. I love this book, wish Neil would have it made into a graphic novel

Loved the books and your artwork hits the spot on everyone, and their description from the books. You should try to show this to Niel Gaiman. :+fav:

I love Ibis. He was my favorite character in the book, and seeing someone draw a picture of him that was spot on with what I imagined?
Perfect.

i know he's still in sketch format, but i do agree with what the other bloke said. Shadow did strike me as being rather dark skinned. i also had an image of him having longer hair for some reason. lol. but still, its a sketch so who cares.

This is highly repulsive.

Not only are you using a cookie-cutter anime drawing style, but you made a poor selection of characters to illustrate (probably just chose characters that your limited imagination seen as token anime characters).

This makes me sick, and you lack imagination.

Go play in the traffic.
You can critisize without being crude, and you're being a complete bitch. Talent is in the eye of the beholder. Don't like it? Browse away.

Shadow should be at least as dark as Ibis. That's a big part of the book, his ambiguous background.

This is the truth that you speak.

I imagined Shadow as being dark-skinned when I read the book, as his ambiguous race is clearly implied in the first chapter of the book, and beyond.

What's-her-name, the Native American lesbian girl, said that Shadow looked like he could be Native American.

Anyone who disregards this is either stupid, or a racist.

I had a very distinct picture of his face in my mind. He has black hair, and his skin is brown. He looks like a Mexican in my head.

...Who cares.
It's your perception and her view on things, and her art do NOT have a reason to fit yours in this matter, or any other. If you don't like her style or her portrayal of the characters on this piece, you can critizise politely and behave like a decent human beign, or you can fuck off for acting like a complete and utter douchebag.
See? I can be crude too.

Jesus Christ in Motherfucking Heaven...

Anyway... I love your style, if my other comments in your Good Omens fanworks haven't made it abundantly clear by now.

Keep at it!

No matter how many times I listen to the audiobook, these are the faces I picture for the characters. These are by far my favorite interpretations of the characters. You should do separate full body shots of the characters. You are a brilliant artist, Zelu.

Okay, in retrospect, the book says he has a glass eye, but it would still be an awesome detail if you could (somehow) distinguish the glass one. :D
